Himachal Adventures I - From the Beas to the hills astride the Parbati River. A trip combining basic adventure activity with basic treks that are generally easy and moderate, with only the odd demanding climb, never getting too high in altitude and are good for the younger ones, for those now in their middle years, or those with moderate fitness levels. The countryside is phenomenal, green, lush with deodar forests and in season with plenty of alpine flowers underfoot...something to surely enrich our spirit. 26 adventure filled days in India with the option of an exciting 4 day extension. Himachal Adventures II - The mountains of the Parbati and Beas Rivers. An alternative to HP Trek Number 1 as a basic trip combining basic adventure activity with basic treks that are generally easy and moderate. Never getting too high in altitude and good for the younger ones, as well as those now in their middle years, or those with moderate fitness levels. The countryside is phenomenal, green, lush with deodar forests and in season with plenty of alpine flowers underfoot ideal to help enrich our spirit. 24 adventure filled days in India with the option of an exciting 4 day extension. Himachal Adventures III - Amongst natures beauty between two great rivers - the Beas and the Sutlej. A special Himalayan adventure at manageable altitudes and in countryside that is surely alpine and beautiful in many ways. The adventure is basic, suited for most. The treks are easy and moderate with few long climbs or descents. The countryside is phenomenal, green, lush with deodar forests and, in season, with plenty of alpine flowers underfoot - spending time in the lap of nature and so enriching our spirit. 24 adventure filled days in India with the option of an exciting 5 day extension. Himachal Adventures IV - To Chandra Tal over the Hampta Pass with the option of pressing on to Baralacha La. An interesting trek that shows you different vistas of the Himalayas and of Himachal Pradesh. You walk in two entirely differing terrain, each with its own magnificent beauty. The trek is easily manageable, though moderate for a couple of days. It is good for all as you move from alpine, green, lush deodar forested regions to the stark magnificence of Lahaul across the mighty Pir Panjal range. The adventure is basic and also a level above basic if the optional Extension is taken. 23 adventure filled days in India with the option of an exciting 3 day extension trek and another option of a brilliant 6 day road safari after the trek. Himachal Adventures V - the snowy heights north and south of the Parbati. An excellent mid level Himalayan trek with few moderate or demanding ascents/descents near Animals pass. The altitudes are planned well with the exciting walks mainly in the countryside of the Beas and Parbati Rivers and surely alpine, very beautiful, phenomenally green, lush with deodar forests and, in season, with plenty flowers underfoot in most of the meadows. Though a notch above basic levels the adventure is suited to most after the planned training. Such time spent in the lap of nature will surely enrich the spirit. 31 adventure filled days in India. Himachal Adventures VI - Manali to Baralacha La via Chandra Tal over the demanding Sara Umga Pass on the Pir Panjal ridgeline. A fabulous trek moderate in the main, demanding on few days near the Pass. For beginners if they accept a weeks training in mountain craft. The trek also shows you two different vistas of the Himalayas and of Himachal Pradesh as it makes you walk in two entirely differing terrain, each with its own magnificent beauty. There is something for all when you move from alpine, green, lush deodar forested regions to the stark magnificence of Lahaul across the mighty Pir Panjal range. 33 adventure filled days in India with an option of an exciting 5 day road safari after the trek. Himachal Adventures VII - A jewel in the crown of Himachal's treks - from Manali to Spiti over Pin Parbati Pass, then an enchanting road safari in Spiti and then the follows a great trek from Spiti to the Satluj valley over Bhaba Pass. Entails two crossings over the mighty Pir Panjal Range apart from the excellent road safari within Spiti Valley. An exposure to two diverse cultures in the state and the wide variation on either side of the Pir Panjal. 31 adventure filled days in India. See details for adventure training options.

Himachal Adventures VIII - A short and sweet trek within the as yet relatively hidden Spiti Valley, walking away from the river but parallel to it. A high altitude trek from beginning to end, mainly easy but with the odd tough day. The best possible way to see this valley, its people and monasteries amidst their natural home - the Spiti countryside. Preceded and followed by excellent road safaris through the many faceted vistas of the Himalayas as we enter from Simla, experience the splendours of the Satluj, Kinner Kailash, Sangla, Spiti and Lahaul valleys and end our sojourn in the beautiful Kulu valley. 31 adventure filled days in India with an option of an exciting 2 day road safari in the middle of the trek to explore the hidden Pin Valley. Himachal Adventures IX - A moderate trekking delight in the best parts of the Kulu Himalayas and in the Great Himalaya National Park below the Shrikand Mahadev Dhar massif. This is one trek that takes you into some of Himachal's relatively little walked areas in the Sainj valley, mostly easy and manageable. The National Park ensures that the protected flora and fauna are abundant and just being with nature at her very best is both a delight and a great gift. A must for nature lovers, a must for mountain lovers and a must for those new to trekking and spending time in the hills or mountains. 34 adventure filled days in India. (HP 9)

 
Himachal Adventures X - A beauty of a trek into the Bara Banghal, enchanting, picturesque and through an area of the Himalayas strewn with amazing forests and alpine flora. The fauna includes brown bear, musk deer, monal pheasants, the moon loving snow cocks (Chikkors) and many others. The trek is initially demanding more so if it has just been raining, yet the delight it offers is unmatched and it takes us through some really remote areas as we walk from the Beas Valley to the valley carved by the Ravi River and return into the Beas valley in an entirely different vista. Beginners who are physically fit can request additional 3 to 4 days adventure training. 28 adventure filled days in India. (HP 10)

 
Himachal Adventures XI - A variation of the Trek HP 10 where the route beyond Bara Banghal is different - and is more demanding, more technical, much more exciting and a bit longer. Something to fill the heart of any adventure lover. Trek is from Manali to Kugti over the Kalihani and Nikora passes, passing through the Bara Banghal area. But it remains unmatched in the delight it offers - unmatched because it takes us through some really remote areas when we walk from the Beas Valley to the valley carved by the Ravi River and its many tributaries. Beginners will need at least 7 days adventure training before the start of the trek. 31 adventure filled days in India. (HP 11)

 
Himachal Adventures XII - The 'piece de la resistance'. A monumental high altitude trek in the Lahaul and Pangi Valley areas. A demanding trek for those with experience. For beginners that are otherwise physically fit adventure training for 10 days at Manali will be included in the itinerary which will also include a short 4 to 5 day acclimatizing trek in the verdant Beas valley. The main trek takes us through three beautiful valleys in the lap of the Greater Himalayas and over the high Pimu and Tarasalamu passes that separate these three valleys. This is indeed a special experience that will be treasured by those who undertake it. 40 adventure filled days in India (47 days for beginners) (HP 12)

 
Himachal Adventures XIII - Hike along the Satluj. This itinerary on request. This is a relatively easy and beautiful trek along the Satluj West Bank (right bank). We traverse going up river. The trek starts from Tapri and staying clearly to west of the river goes upto Pooh before turning along the Spiti river upto Nako, Tresing Dhar. Option of exiting by road back to Simla or into Spiti Valley is available. Best in July to mid Oct. Also very feasible in April to June with a cushion of a few days built in. 12 days of great trekking. Pre/post-trek programmes as per requirements. See Map.

 
Himachal Adventures XIV - Kinner Kailash Parikrama. This itinerary on request. This is a very popular trek that reveals the many facets of the Himachal Himalayas. You walk around one of India's most well known massifs, the Kinner Kailash, a route of some religious significance. The trek passes through some of Himachals most beautiful valleys with some walking along and over a glacier for good measure. The last few days of the trek are in one of India's prettiest valleys, the Sangla Valley. Best in June to October. Also feasible, weather permitting, mid-April, May and to mid-November. The trek starts from Powari and ends at Sangla village. 9 days of actual trekking. Pre/post trek programmes as per requirements.See Map.
